Electronics Engineer - embedded hardware for IoT
Budget: £36 – £0 GBP
We are looking for an experienced electronic engineer for 1-2 months part-time (3 days a week) to help us design & and build a commercial-ready embedded IoT device. Starting within the next 2 weeks.
This will be a hands-on project, involving rapid prototyping. You will be working alongside our full-time electronic engineer & and our design engineer.
We are building a product in the reusable packaging/sustainability space. We have a working prototype that includes a solenoid lock, digital scale, QR scanner, LEDs, and 4G all connected to a Raspberry Pi (but looking to switch onto ESP32). This communicates with our backend and app to create an IoT ecosystem.
This will need to be a commercial-ready product, so commercial experience is essential. Experience of embedded C & PCB design is also desirable.
This is an in-person role due to the physical nature of the output. We have a spare desk in our office in Fleet Street (London) with a small workshop in the office and a 3D printer to help us prototype & and fabricate. Working from home will be considered if the project allows.
