Write text to Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) with Smartphone without fixed Access point
E-Paper ESL Tag typical Working Frequency 2.4Ghz
The Objective
Transmit text data with either BLE "Preferably" or Wifi through to the ESL though a Smartphone
Reasoning
A fixed ESL Access Point is not feasible or practical.
1. Must be able to write/rewrite text data to ESL by way of a Smartphone with a APK
2. One way commination only required "Smartphone to ESL"
3. Attaching a wireless Receiver component to the ESL module board is acceptable
Considering that Receiver component is small.
4. As I understand it voltage range is between 3.3V to 5V
5. Short/Near range transmitting with "Bluetooth connectivity if possible is preferable" i.e. 2 meters or less
