ElectronJS Developer

Job ID: 34563717

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I'm looking for a senior Electron developer to assist me with a current project. The scope of this engagement will include:

The general scope of this project is creating a new app that helps with running QA sessions - tracking actions and gathering "evidence" on command (screenshots, video, audio, notes)

- It should run on Windows, Mac, Linux, and in a browser.
- It should allow you to start a "Session" and choose a specific window/screen where you are testing. In the session, it tracks your actions on a timeline and allows you to capture "evidence" of the app your testing via screenshots, video, audio, and notes.
- When you take screenshots, video, or audio, you should be allowed to add notes to the media after you finish capturing.
- When you stop the session, it should give you the option to export your data to a PDF.

Further Requirements:
- All code Must be be linted and conform to repository standards.
- All code must be covered by unit tests.
- All code must be documented with comments.

Engagement Rules:
- All work must be checked in as it is written. Commits will be compared against hours recorded to ensure that they match up and the work produced is meaningful. Any hours recorded without associated code commits will not be paid.
- All hours must be recorded daily.

This is a large, ongoing project, so there will be a significant amount of future work for the candidate who is able to deliver excellent code on a quick timeline. Note: I am looking for a candidate who will be performing (and thus, directly responsible for) the work. No subcontracting.
