Electric Field Powered RGB LED Circuit

Job ID: 38751956

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

General Structure:
This project involves designing an electrical circuit within a rectangular prism with dimensions of 25 cm x 25 cm x 10 cm. In the center of one of the larger faces of the prism, there is a 10 cm diameter hole. A 10 cm diameter and 25 cm long insulating tube passes through this hole. Inside the tube are two LED strips, each approximately 22 cm long, with densely packed LEDs in a daylight color. These LED strips are designed to operate through an electric field.

Coil and Electric Field Generation:
The coil placed inside the prism is connected to a circuit that operates with the standard Turkish mains electricity (220V, 50Hz AC). The coil is positioned within the rectangular prism to generate an electric field, with its central opening aligned with the 10 cm diameter hole at the center of the prism. This alignment ensures that the electric field directly affects the LED strips passing through the tube.

Operation of LEDs via Electric Field:
This circuit is designed to power the LED strips via the electric field generated by the coil. The electric field activates the LEDs as it interacts with receivers positioned on the LED strips inside the tube.

Circuit Structure and Size:
The electrical circuit must be compact enough to fit within the prism. It will convert the mains electricity to the correct voltage and current required to generate a sufficient electric field for the coil.

Electric Field Receivers:
Inside the tube, three small electric field receivers are positioned at the ends and center of the LED strips. These receivers interact with the coil's electric field to activate the LEDs in specific positions. The receivers are sized to avoid obstructing the light emitted by the LEDs.
