Electric Actuator Motor Control System
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am seeking a skilled engineer to develop a control system for an electric actuator motor that manages a channel contactor, in relation to water level monitoring.
The key components of this project are:
- Actuator Motor: The system will utilize an electric actuator motor. (Please check the actuator data sheet!)
- Water Level Sensor: The type of water level sensor remains flexible and can be decided together. It could be any type including Ultrasonic, Pressure or Float switch.
- Control Method: The control method for the system is also flexible. We can explore options like Proportional control, Step control or PID control.
The system should operate as follows:
- The water level is continuously monitored by the sensor.
- If the water level exceeds a "normal value", the channel gate opens gradually. The degree of opening depends on the water level.
- In cases of moderate increases in water level, the channel gate opens a small section.
- If the water level continues to rise, the gate opens further until the water level falls.
- Once the "normal value" is reached, the channel gate closes.
Ideal skills for this project include:
- Proficiency in control systems design.
- Experience with electric actuator motors.
- Knowledge of different types of water level sensors.
- Understanding and ability to implement various control methods.
I look forward to your proposals and believe that together we can find the best solutions for this project.
The system should be equipped with a local control interface.
Maybe also a remote control can be integrated later.
