Digital Forensics: Logic Circuit Simulation

Job ID: 39294984

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Objective:
The objective of this project is to apply the knowledge gained from throughout the labs in the Logic Design and Computer Organization course.
Scenarios:
Design and simulate a logic circuit that enables users to input three hexadecimal values (0-F) and display each on a 7-segment display. The input should shift from left to right, and a memory element must be used to store each entered character.
Design and Implementation:
design and simulate a logic circuit with the following objectives:
1. Identify and define the modules of the final circuit.
2. Design and simulate each module individually.
3. Explain the functionality and purpose of each module.
4. Integrate the modules and simulate the complete circuit.
5. Demonstrate the simulation during the presentation day
Instructions:
1- design and simulate the assigned task using Logisim.
2- Prepare 10-15 slides to present the findings. Organize your materials.
3- Prepare a comprehensive test report of your project covering all the sections provided in the Rubric below.
4- Provide all the necessary information and screenshots in your report.
5- Final Report MUST be prepared using an overleaf document processor.
6- Final report should not be less than 20 pages in a single-column IEEE transaction format.
7- Plagiarism should not be more than 20%
