Development of a Sound Frequency Detection System using ESP32/ESP8266/Raspberry Pi

Job ID: 37553940

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

Project Description:
We are seeking a skilled freelancer to develop a system capable of detecting sound frequencies specifically in the range of 18,000 Hz to 19,000 Hz. This project will involve the design and programming of a device that can efficiently perform this task and communicate the detection results via a network.

Core Requirements:

Microcontroller Options: The system should be based on either ESP32, ESP8266, or Raspberry Pi, as per availability and efficiency in meeting project needs.
Frequency Detection Range: The device must accurately detect sound frequencies between 18,000 Hz and 19,000 Hz.
Network Communication: Upon detecting a specified frequency within the range, the device should send a signal through UDP (User Datagram Protocol) over a Wi-Fi network.
Target IP and Port: The UDP signal must be directed to a specific IP address and port, which will be provided.
Scalability for Mass Production: As the initial requirement is for at least 40 units, the design and implementation should be suitable for mass production without significant modifications.
Additional Specifications: Any additional specifications, such as power requirements, size constraints, and environmental conditions in which the device will operate, should be detailed.
Deliverables:

Complete design and schematics of the device.
Source code for the microcontroller, including clear documentation.
Prototype demonstrating the core functionality.
Guide for replicating the design for mass production.
