Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

ProSuccess Pharma plans to equip warehouse staff with a hand-worn scanner that frees both hands while instantly sending SKU data to our WiFi network. I need a full-cycle hardware partner who can take the concept from design through to a first production run of 20 units.

Core functions
• WiFi-enabled controller capable of sending scan data in real time to our existing WMS API.
• Integrated 1D/2D barcode scanner module.
• Rechargeable battery sized for a full shift; quick-swap or USB-C top-up welcome.
• Small OLED display for status prompts and simple UI.
• Mix of physical and touch-sensitive buttons for power, trigger, and menu navigation.

Critical priorities
Durability comes first: the enclosure must survive daily bumps, dust, and occasional drops while staying as light and comfortable as possible for eight-hour wear. A robust fastening method (strap or glove-mount) should not impede movement or item handling.

Scope of work
– Industrial and ergonomic design, including enclosure CAD and strap solution
– Electronics schematics, PCB layout, firmware for WiFi data push, and basic UI
– Two iterative prototypes for field testing, followed by manufacture and assembly of 20 final units
– All source files (STEP/STL, Gerber, firmware, BOM) transferred on project completion

Acceptance criteria
1. Each unit scans standard 1D/2D barcodes within 10 cm–50 cm.
2. WiFi data packets reach our test server with <1 s latency.
3. Battery powers continuous scanning for at least 8 h.
4. Device withstands a 1 m drop onto concrete without functional loss.
5. Final batch of 20 units passes our on-site QA checklist.
