Custom Zero Export Device & CT Sensor Development

*Project Description:*
We are looking for an experienced electronics engineer or freelancer with expertise in designing and developing a *custom zero export device* for a solar power system, including integrating *CT sensors*. The device should ensure no power is exported to the grid while maximizing the use of solar energy for local loads.
*Key Requirements:*
1. *Zero Export Device:*
- Design and development of a zero export controller that can be integrated with grid-tied solar inverters.
- The device should limit power export to 0W by dynamically controlling the inverter output based on load requirements.
- Must be compatible with standard solar inverters (Fronius, SMA, Solis, Huawei, etc.) using RS485/Modbus or Ethernet communication.
2. *CT Sensors:*
- Development of CT sensors to measure the power flow (both consumption and generation) for accurate feedback to the zero export controller.
- Sensors should have a measuring range of 0-100A with a 5A or 1A output.
- The sensors should provide real-time data to the zero export device for immediate adjustments.
3. *Device Features:*
- Real-time power monitoring and control.
- Bi-directional energy metering for accurate measurement of energy flow.
- Power limitation control with adjustable thresholds.
- LCD or digital interface for monitoring power data.
- Safety features such as overload protection.
4. *Communication & Integration:*
- Must support Modbus/RS485 communication protocols for integration with solar inverters and energy meters.
- The device should work with industry-standard smart meters for bi-directional power measurement.
5. *Programming & Calibration:*
- The freelancer must provide the necessary programming and calibration for the device.
- The device should automatically adjust power output based on load conditions to ensure zero export.
*Deliverables:*
1. A working prototype of the zero export device with CT sensors.
2. Schematic diagrams and component lists for the device.
3. Firmware for controlling the zero export function.
4. Testing and calibration documentation.
5. Support for integrating the device with solar inverters.
*Skills Required:*
