Compact Mechanized Paper Slider and Shutter
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We are seeking a skilled mechanical automation (mechatronics) engineer to design and develop an integrated system focused on a paper sliding mechanism and a shutter open/close mechanism, both controlled through sensors, actuators, and motorized inputs.
The engineer will be responsible for creating a compact and structurally sound design that uses components such as rollers, servo motors (e.g., MG996R), DC or stepper motors, and mechanical linkages like rack and pinion or pulley systems. The paper sliding unit should enable smooth, single-sheet feeding from a tray using a roller mechanism driven by motors and monitored by IR or capacitive sensors to detect paper presence and position.
The shutter mechanism should include a motorized actuator, integrated with sensors (such as IR or ultrasonic) to detect objects or user interaction and automatically open or close the shutter with precision and safety. The structural design must include a rigid frame, proper mounting for all electronics and moving parts, and incorporate limit switches or magnetic sensors to define endpoints and prevent over-travel.
The engineer must also design the control logic, select appropriate components, simulate motion if necessary, and ensure the system is power-efficient, reliable, and suitable for continuous operation in a compact form factor.
