Build me a 6th order Butterworth type OPAMP-based low-pass filter
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Design a 6th order Butterworth type (see table below) OPAMP-based low-pass
filter with operational simulation method with the specifications given values(f0=15KHz). Use LM741 type of
opamps.
a) Explain clearly the derivation of the active filter.
b) Find practical element values. Explain the derivation of practical element values.
c) Justify your findings via spice simulations.
For filter component values, I will give details. Use Rs=1 ohm.
2- Design your filter like question 1 with OPAMP-based cascade design. Use LM741 type of opamps.
Design the filter and explain in details how you performed
a) pole-zero pairing, section ordering and gain assignement.
b) Find practical element values. Explain the derivation of practical element values.
c) Justify your findings via spice simulations.
please let me know if you know LTSpice design and operational simulation method, OTA structures etc.
