Battery supervisor system development

Job ID: 37256790

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I am looking for a skilled developer to help me with the development of a battery supervisor system. The budget for this project is $800.

Specific features required for the battery supervisor system include overcharge and overdischarge protection.

My project is the development of a BMS PCB.
I need a device to monitor the state of the battery. (5S cells) Without control function. If deviations are detected, the device must close the relay contacts. The cell balancing function should also be implemented. It is necessary to prepare a specification for release on the pcbway platform.
The specs I have given are the minimum requirements; any additional features or capabilities would be a plus. The PCB should take into account any potential future upgrades that I may require.

This system is designed to monitor, not control, the battery charge.

It is planned to use the BM3451 VJDC-T28A chip

This system is designed to generate an error signal and balance the battery cells.

Development for monitoring 5 serially connected 5S cells.

Improvements regarding the scheme proposed by the manufacturer:
- Replacement of power MOSFETs on relays with contacts Base, NC, and NO
-Closing and opening the contacts of this relay will generate an error signal in the error bus:
- cell overcharge
- cell overdischarge

Balancing of cells with a current of 500 mA
Power connectors and error buses - separate on the board housing:
3 pin Molex - Error Bus Input Connector
3 pin Molex - connector for serial connection of error bus to the following boards
6 Molex pin for battery (5 cells and total -)
Help with preparing files for the release of the prototype and the first series on the PCBway.com

I am ready to pay for the assembly and delivery of a test sample from PCBway to you for debugging and testing the prototype.

There are no specific compatibility requirements for the system.

Ideal skills and experience for this job include:

- Strong knowledge of battery management systems
- Experience in developing real-time monitoring systems
- Proficiency in designing overcharge and overdischarge protection mechanisms
- Familiarity with temperature monitoring technologies
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner

If you have the necessary skills and experience, please submit your proposal.
