Arduino/ESP32S project - C++ and related electronics

Hello,

The project is consisted of an ESP32S circuit that controls up to 8xESP32S circuits. (The 8 slaves have keyboard and screen and can be individually set)
There is already a working code with just a few bugs.
1. problem is that the Central ESP can only talk to one ESP at a time.
2. which is a consequence of No.1 is the use of a real time clock to communicate, which is uncertain and slow.
It works, but not optimally.

I need two offers.
Offer No.1 is to redesign the architecture, even with a bigger board for the Control circuit (Like arduino or w/e) and code the communication with the smaller circuits, to achieve real time communication, not dependant on clocks or just being able to speak with 1 ESP at a time.

Offer No.2 (preferred) is to improve the current code for the circuits to work, eliminating the bugs, repairing the communication to multiple slaves, like using ESP-NOW to talk to multiple slaves, solves problem No.1 and thus, No.2 I guess. This should have a bonus because we save a little cost on boards and electronics.
