ADU Electrical Blueprint & Documentation
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I am seeking a qualified freelancer (for example, an electrical engineer, CAD designer, or permitting specialist) to prepare specific electrical plans and documentation for an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) project to meet the requirements of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). The deliverables must comply with LADWP standards and be submitted in PDF format. This project is time-sensitive, and all documents must be accurate and complete to ensure a meter spot inspection can proceed once framing is complete.
Deliverables I expect:
• Load calculations and panel schedule sized for both standard and smart devices
• Complete single-line and wiring diagrams, including breaker and conduit sizing
• Lighting, receptacle, and switch layouts with symbol legend
• Low-voltage layouts for smart devices, sensors, and security cameras
• Title block, notes, and local code citations ready for plan check submission (PDF + CAD)
I’ll supply the architectural floorplan the moment we start; everything else is yours to develop. Let me know your turnaround time and any code jurisdictions you usually design for so we can keep the approval process smooth.
