I am looking for an experienced robotics programmer to develop a simulation in ABB RobotStudio. The project involves programming an ABB IRB140 industrial robot with an MTD positioner to simulate the controlled application of a sealant around the edges of an injection-molded component.

This project requires precise programming, simulation setup, and adherence to specific operational parameters. The final deliverable will be a fully functional RobotStudio workstation, saved using the Pack and Go format.

Scope of Work
The freelancer will be responsible for:

Setting Up the Robot Cell in RobotStudio:

Use the IRB140 robot and MTD 250kg positioner from the RobotStudio library.

Include a simulated workspace with a table, fences, gates, and pedestals to reflect real-world constraints.

Import and position the injection-molded component CAD model (STL file provided).

Programming the Robot for Sealant Application:

The robot must pick up a simulated pen tool (sealant gun) from a designated holder.

Move to the workpiece and apply a continuous bead of sealant along its edges.

Maintain a constant TCP (Tool Center Point) speed and correct tool orientation (perpendicular to the edge chamfers, 60-degree angle).

Return the pen tool to the holder and reset to a safe position after completing the task.

Speed and Motion Requirements:

Unregulated speed when moving between operations.

610 mm/s when approaching the component or pen holder.

480 mm/s during sealant application.

Smooth and continuous movement of the TCP around the component’s edges.

Recording and Displaying Task Time:

The robot’s cycle time must be recorded and displayed on the virtual pendant.

Ensuring Accuracy and Safety in the Simulation:

The system should avoid collisions and simulate a realistic manufacturing environment.

If needed, virtual fences or planes should be used to mark boundaries.

Technical Requirements:
Software: ABB RobotStudio (RobotWare 6.10.04 or later).

Files Provided: CAD files (SAT & STL format) for the component and pen tool.

Delivery Format: Pack and Go (.rspag file).

Expected Deliverables:
Fully functional RobotStudio simulation following the above criteria.

A Pack and Go (.rspag) file for easy review and testing.

A brief report or video demonstration explaining the setup and operation.
