I need to wire a heatpress

I bought a heat press from an auction but the wires were split. After some googling I was able to find out its from china, a 220v machine that can pull up to 1300w. There is a third wire hiding in the insolation which is dark red but clearly a red wire. I have no idea how to wire stuff and i don't wanna do something stupid. I imagine its something very simple for an electrician.
