The aim of our project is to supply a single-family house with solar power completely independently of the grid operator. We discuss the basic principles of a photovoltaic system and describe its individual components. How do the amortization times differ from glass to glass modules and glass to foil modules. We also explain how a photovoltaic system works and calculate its payback period. We introduce different types of Photovoltaic modules and power storage and highlight their differences. In order to determine the effectiveness of the photovoltaic system, we create an energy balance to determine the annual output.
In addition, we explain the necessary requirements and the possibilities of state subsidies in order to be able to install a photovoltaic system. Finally, we go into the safety aspects and environmental friendliness of photovoltaic systems.
