In your design, you have been told to use a compressor that will operate within (120 – 200) kPa suction pressure and (800 -1200) kPa discharge pressure. The mass flow rate in your design is 3.5 Kg/min.
You have to design your cycle for at least two refrigerants and compare their cooling load and Coefficient of Performance (COP) of the compressor. The recommended refrigerants are R-134a and R410a.
