Experienced Wiring Technician – Machines, Panels & Drives
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced wiring technician with strong expertise in industrial machine wiring, control panel assembly, and drive integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VFDs, servo drives, and soft starters, along with a deep understanding of electrical drawings, cable routing, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
Perform wiring, termination, and connection of electrical components for machines, control panels, and drives.
Install and wire VFDs, servo drives, and soft starters according to manufacturer guidelines.
Assemble and integrate switchgear, MCCs, PLC panels, relay logic panels, and instrumentation wiring.
Select, cut, crimp, and install cables, wires, and conduits as per design and safety standards.
Conduct continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and troubleshooting of wiring faults.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and relevant electrical safety standards.
Collaborate with design, assembly, and testing teams to meet project timelines.
Maintain proper documentation of wiring changes and panel modifications.
Support on-site installation and commissioning when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma / BE in Electrical / Electronics or related field.
3–8 years of proven experience in machine wiring, control panel assembly, and drive wiring.
Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motor control wiring, and industrial automation components.
Ability to work with tools, crimping equipment, and cable management systems.
Good understanding of electrical safety practices.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in PLC panel wiring, VFD parameter settings, servo motor wiring, and instrumentation.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (RS-485, Ethernet, Modbus).
Ability to handle custom-built control panels.
