Verification and Validation Engineer

We are urgently looking for an Electrical Engineer.

The Electrical Engineer will work closely with multiple product development teams and product platforms to support functional testing and risk identification for agricultural vehicles utilizing CNH Precision Solutions and Telematics (PTG) systems + Raven solutions.

This position works with the PTG product validation group to create the required test procedures and plans for the validation of these systems and then executes the validation plan on a variety of vehicle platforms.

This position is a systems generalist who can perform functional testing on a variety of precision farming, steering, telematics, and product control systems. The position requires the ability to collect and analyze operational data and familiarity with CAN communications.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or EET.

- 2 years of experience with agricultural equipment, precision farming systems, or connected vehicle systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience and understanding of communication protocols required - CAN, RS232 (additional: cellular, Wifi, GPS, ISOBUS).

- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with minimal supervision. Development of system-level test plans once implemented in the organization.

- Customer orientated focus. Understanding the end function of the product from the customer's perspective and verifying against that function.

- Agricultural, construction, automotive, or similar background demonstrating familiarity with off-highway machinery operations.

- Experience using Vector Tools or other serial bus system data acquisition and analysis tools. Test Stands.

- 1-2 years of experience in electronic troubleshooting and diagnostics or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience developing and executing test plans.

- Good written and verbal communication skills required.

- Good computer skills using Word, Excel, and MS Office programs.

- Ability to drive tractors (truck and off-road vehicle license) is required. Testing the system to customer expectations and ensuring performance meets specifications and customer expectations.
