2021 VOLVO 760 HIGH VOLTAGE

Drop and hook trailers. On some trailers with LED lights turn signals don't work when engine is running. With engine off all works fine. 1 year old Delco Remy 36S1 model 8600127 with remote sense. Elog connected to diagnostic port detecting high voltage spikes up to 14.94 volts. Dealer recommended to replace alternator. Is there other options? Is there a way to reduce alternator voltage (adjustable voltage regulator)? Also not a big fan of remote sense. What if batteries are not perfect, alternator will run max voltage all the time? What alternator make and model with adjustable voltage regulator and no remote sense will fit my truck?
