What is your preferred digital audio workstation (DAW) for this project? Pro Tools
What specific qualities of tape sound are you trying to emulate? emulate the sound of recording and playback to/from analogue multi-track tape. ,consider all elements in the signal chain ( the characteristics they may impart),with each plug-in/stage addressing a specific aspect of the process.
'Dedicated tape emulation plug-in processors NOT be used'.
