Skyliner Project
Budget: $50,000 – $100,000 USD
The Skyliner is an eVTOL, carbon neutral, solar electric vacuum airship that produces its own electric power. The Skyliner may be produced as a passenger/cargo aircraft or a drone. The first of its kind, the Skyliner offers the following advantages:
Using vacuum for the lift of the aircraft eliminates the need for helium or hydrogen used in conventional airships allowing a more aerodynamic design and the capability of increased speeds and maneuverability.
The surface of solar cells provides all needed electric power, reducing greenhouse gas emissions to zero and eliminating fuel costs. This also allows the Skyliner to travel globally without the need to land for battery replacement or recharge, or to remain on-station indefinitely.
Built-in solar cell extensions may be deployed when additional power is required.
