On-Site Manufacturing Equipment Technician

Job ID: 40258988

Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD

I need an experienced industrial machinery technician who can travel to my plant in Toms River, NJ and get a paper-cup–making machine running smoothly again. The unit has begun to misfeed and overheat after a recent relocation, so I’m looking for someone who can: diagnose the root cause, source or suggest any replacement parts, carry out the mechanical and minor electrical repairs, and fine-tune the machine so it meets its rated production speed.

You should be comfortable stripping down gearboxes, aligning shafts, adjusting pneumatics, checking heaters and sensors, and working around PLC-driven controls. I’ll supply manuals, basic shop tools, and a maintenance assistant; you bring your specialised tools, troubleshooting experience, and safe-work practices.

Deliverables (on site):
• Initial condition assessment with a brief action plan
• Completed repairs and adjustments, documented in the service log
• Final run test showing correct cup forming, sealing, and stacking at target cycle rate
• List of any follow-up parts or preventive measures recommended

The work can start as soon as you are available; most fixes are expected to be completed in a single full day, but I’m happy to book extra time if deeper repairs emerge.
