Sigfox Water Meter Retrofitting Project Manager
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced project manager to lead our Sigfox Water Meter Retrofitting Project. This project will involve the development and implementation of a system to retrofit existing water meters with Sigfox devices to allow for remote monitoring of water usage. In the first phase of the project, the system will only measure flow rate. In subsequent phases, the system will be expanded to measure pH, TDS, and temperature.
The project manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including:
- Research: The project manager will research Sigfox technology and water meter retrofitting solutions.
- Supplier management: The project manager will contact suppliers to get quotes and select the appropriate hardware and software components.
- System design and architecture: The project manager will work with engineers to design the system architecture.
- Project planning and execution: The project manager will develop and execute a project plan to ensure that the system is delivered on time and within budget.
- Testing and deployment: The project manager will oversee the testing and deployment of the system.
- Reporting platform development: The project manager will either code the reporting platform themselves or find another suitable freelancer to do so.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the water industry or in a related field.
- Experience with Sigfox technology is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in coding or the ability to find another suitable freelancer to develop the reporting platform.
