Ship Deck Light Replacement
Budget: $250 – $750 SGD
I need all defective fluorescent fittings on the open decks swapped out for the LED fixtures I already have in stock onboard. The job is strictly installation: remove each faulty unit, mount the new fixture, connect, seal, and then test for watertight integrity and proper operation.
Because we are working topside, you must be comfortable with marine-grade electrical work, corrosion-resistant hardware, and the usual safety and lock-out procedures that apply on an active vessel. Bringing your own basic tools is expected; I will provide the replacement lights, fixtures, and access to ship power.
Deliverables I will check off before signing off:
• Every deck light removed and disposed of in accordance with ship policy
• New LED fixtures mounted securely, wired, and labelled
• Functional test witnessed with switches and breakers cycled
• A short hand-over note listing fixture locations and any follow-up recommendations
The ship is alongside, so the work can be completed without sailing. Let me know your availability and estimated time to complete the change-out so we can coordinate gangway access and permits.
