SKM Arc Flash Study Assistance
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
This is my first SKM project for an Arc Flash Study. The electrical system is relatively small and consists of 5 buses. I have completed the one-line diagram and entered the available equipment data into SKM, including utility source, transformer, conductors, and protective devices.
I am looking for assistance with reviewing the SKM model to verify that the system has been modeled correctly and that the assumptions, equipment settings, and calculations are appropriate. Specifically, I would appreciate guidance on:
• Verifying one-line diagram accuracy
• Checking equipment data entry and impedance values
• Reviewing protective device settings and coordination assumptions
• Running fault current and arc flash calculations correctly
• Confirming arc flash boundary, incident energy, and PPE results
• Identifying any modeling errors or missing information
