L-C Resonance Circuit Design

Job ID: 38678353

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need an expert in circuit design to help debug and fix an L-C Resonance circuit. I have a prototype PCB that is not working properly. The first milestone will be to help me fix the resonance issue. The next milestone is to help fix the amplifier and detector. Optional milestones after this (if you are interested) is to re-do the PCB layout and modify the firmware. It’s a big project but it will be split in small milestones to make sure you have the skills required to complete it.

Here’s a quick overview. I have a PCB traces coil (8 turns, 1 inch diameter) to which I feed a sinusoïdal signal. When I place a L-C tag in the middle, it should resonate at around 110khz. When I measure it on a network analyzer (VNA), I clearly see the resonance. But when I measure on the oscilloscope, I do not see any resonance (change in signal amplitude). If you can explain why and how to fix it, then I will hire you right away.

We also have many on-going projects and would like to find a competent collaborator for circuit testing and debugging. So this project could lead to a long term collaboration if it works out.

I would like your proposal to explain what you think is the issue and what could possibly fix it, or at least give enough details to convince me you understand this topic well. Please let me know if you have any questions.
