I need an experienced solar PV design engineer who can jump straight into a small-scale residential project and turn around professional drawings and calculations without delay. The site offers less than 1,000 sq. ft. of usable roof space, and the homeowner’s primary objective is to cut monthly electricity bills, so every watt and panel placement must be optimised for cost-to-benefit.

You’ll receive roof photographs, basic structural information, and recent utility bills as soon as we start. From there I expect a full design package that can be handed to the local installer and utility for approval. Please rely on industry-standard tools you’re comfortable with—PVsyst, HelioScope, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar—to validate shading, estimate annual energy yield, and size the inverter and protection devices to current residential codes.

Deliverables required:
• Scaled roof layout showing module placement, racking orientation, and keep-out zones
• Electrical single-line diagram with conductor sizing, grounding, and protection details
• Energy production report (kWh/year) and simple payback estimate tied to the client’s tariff
• Itemised bill of materials with manufacturer part numbers
• Brief installation notes or assumptions to guide the onsite crew
