Analogue IO cards are split equally across the PLC. Only 11 DI’s, 24 DO’s, 14 AI’s and 14 AO’s are required in the software the remaining are spares. The PLC will be able to communicate with each other with each sending its inputs readings to the other. The software is very simple controlling two furnaces and a bypass system. Analogue outputs and digital output will be set depending on status of analogue/digital inputs. Nothing complex, no PID loop just simple ladder logic with RSlogix 500.
Detailed specifications will be given once the project starts and the winner will be expected to provide an overview of the software, IO schedule and competed tested software.
