Power Electronics Technician
I'm looking for an mid-level experienced power electronics engineer to work on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of power electronic equipment and systems including uninterruptible power supply (UPS), chargers, rectifiers, associated controllers and batteries etc.
The project involves:
- AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC conversion
- Design and development for renewable energy systems, specifically battery storage.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in power electronics
- Experience with renewable energy systems, especially battery energy storage
- Proficiency in conversion technologies and system design
Skills and Qualifications:
· Technical Knowledge: Understanding of AC/DC power & electronic principles, components, and circuits.
· Diagnostic Skills: Ability to use testing equipment and interpret schematics to diagnose faults.
· Repair Skills: Proficiency in soldering, wiring, and replacing power & electronic components.
· Problem-solving: Ability to analyse problems and develop solutions.
· Communication: Effective communication skills for working with customers/others and providing technical information & support.
· Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
· Safety Awareness: Adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
