PCB Design Needed: Miniature Medical Wearable (Nordic nRF52840 + TI ADS1293)
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to develop the PCBA for a compact medical wearable device. The project involves designing a 4-layer Mixed-Signal PCB that integrates Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with a sensitive high-precision Analog Front End (ECG/SpO2).
We have the BOM, component requirements, and a reference architecture ready. Your job is to capture the schematic and create a production-ready PCB layout optimized for size and noise immunity.
Key Technical Requirements
Main MCU: Nordic nRF52840 (QFN Package).
Analog Front End (AFE): TI ADS1293 or ADS1292R (SPI Interface).
Power Management: TI BQ25120A (PMIC for Li-Po charging & power path).
Display: 0.96" OLED (SSD1306 controller via I2C).
RF/Antenna: 50-ohm impedance-matched trace or chip antenna for BLE 5.0.
Board Constraints: ~25mm x 35mm size, 4-Layer Stackup, ENIG finish (Gold pads for skin contact).
Scope of Work
Schematic Capture: Create a clean, logical schematic based on our reference block diagram.
Component Selection: Verify availability of critical ICs (JLCPCB/DigiKey stock check).
PCB Layout:
Place components to fit mechanical enclosure constraints.
Implement Impedance Control for the RF antenna path.
Implement Analog Isolation (Guard Rings) to protect the sensitive ECG signals from digital noise.
Production Files Generation: Gerbers, BOM, Pick & Place, and Assembly Drawings.
Deliverables
Source Files: Native project files (Altium Designer or KiCad preferred).
Manufacturing Files: Gerber X2/RS-274X, NC Drill files.
Assembly Files: BOM (Excel) with LCSC/DigiKey part numbers, Pick & Place (CPL) file.
Mechanical Integration: 3D STEP file of the populated PCBA.
