Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Python developer with experience in working with PSS/E and PSCAD models. The main objective is to optimize and simplify existing Python scripts to improve their usability and streamline tasks related to Generator Performance Standard (GPS) compliance and AEMO requirements.
Additionally, the freelancer will develop a script or tool that can read and process output files from PSS/E and PSCAD models, specifically working with channels and output data.

Key Responsibilities:
Simplify and enhance existing Python scripts for:
PSS/E models.
PSCAD models.
Ensure Python scripts comply with GPS and AEMO requirements.
Develop an efficient method or tool to read and process output files from PSS/E and PSCAD models, including handling channels and output data.
Deliver well-documented and user-friendly scripts or tools with a Releasable User Guide (RUG).

Requirements:
Proven experience in Python scripting with a focus on:
PSS/E models.
PSCAD models.
Understanding of Generator Performance Standards (GPS) and AEMO requirements.
Ability to process and handle output files from PSS/E and PSCAD with channels.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver user-friendly solutions.
Strong attention to detail, especially when working with complex data structures.
Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to document work effectively.

Prior work with NER compliance and system stability analysis.
