Office Lighting & Sound Reconfiguration
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m reorganising my office floorplan and need a low-voltage specialist who can handle both the electrical wiring and the physical installation of new gear. The main goals are:
• Relocate several existing ceiling fixtures to fit the new desk layout
• Add an extra layer of ambient lighting—open to LED strips, recessed cans, or a smart-lighting system if you have a solid recommendation
• Run speaker wire, mount speakers, and set up full surround sound (amp, sub, balancing, and final audio test)
I can give you current drawings and photos, plus easy access to the ceiling grid and walls. Once you’ve reviewed the space, I’d like a quick wiring diagram and parts list so we agree on materials before anything gets opened up. After installation, a walk-through and system test will sign the job off.
You’ll need your own tools for low-voltage work, a neat cabling game, and familiarity with common smart-lighting hubs and AV receivers. If scheduling is flexible for you, we can slot this in during evenings or a weekend to avoid disrupting the team.
Looking forward to seeing how you’d tackle the rewiring, ambient lighting, and surround-sound setup end-to-end.
