Off-Grid Commercial Solar PV Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m looking for a solar engineer who can take my commercial site—rated for well over 200 kW of demand—and turn it into a fully-documented, off-grid photovoltaic solution. The scope covers everything from the initial load assessment right through to the final AutoCAD drawings.
Here is what I need you to deliver:
• A complete PV array layout in AutoCAD, showing module strings, row spacing, and orientation that fits the available roof and ground space.
• Structural details for the mounting system, including material specifications and anchoring.
• Sizing calculations for the battery storage bank to keep the site running independently, plus the inverter configuration that matches both peak and surge loads.
• Single-line and wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and protection schemes.
• A concise bill of materials with component ratings and quantities.
All calculations—irradiance, energy yield, derating factors, and autonomy days—must be clearly shown so the design can be verified or audited later. Use your preferred design software, but the final drawings must arrive in DWG/DXF along with an unlocked PDF set.
