Project Brief: Design of a Multi-Topology DC-DC Converter (Freelance Collaboration)

I'm working on my end-of-course research project focused on designing a multi-topology DC-DC converter capable of dynamically switching between Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, SEPIC, and Cuk configurations.

The objective is to create a unified power stage where key components like MOSFETs, inductors, and capacitors are shared across all topologies, rather than using isolated circuits connected via switches.

Key Requirements:
-Variable input and output voltage range
- Support for dynamic switching between the five converter topologies
- Efficient power stage using common components for all modes
- Guidance on choosing a suitable controller IC or programmable control approach**
- Simulation support in MATLAB/Simulink

Main Challenge:
I need assistance with the power stage design, particularly:
- How to structure the switches and passive components to allow dynamic reconfiguration
- Whether there's a controller IC that supports this kind of multi-mode operation
- How to maintain good efficiency across varying voltage/current levels

Deliverables (Depending on Scope):
- Schematic for the unified power stage
- Control logic or suggested controller ICs
- Simulation model (MATLAB/Simulink or LTspice)
- Optional: Suggestions for prototype implementation
