Motorboat Woodwork Repair Assistant

Job ID: 40393125

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need an extra set of skilled hands in the shop as I take on several motorboat refits. Your main focus will be woodwork—cutting, shaping, fitting, and finishing timber components that keep these boats solid and seaworthy. Expect tasks such as replacing cockpit soles, building new transom frames, and repairing interior joinery, all to boat-yard standards.

Beyond the timber, I’ll occasionally lean on you for light electrical fixes, basic pipe and hose routing, or helping bleed a small hydraulic line, so a practical grasp of tools and safe working practices is important. Most days we’ll be working in or around the water, so reliability and a good head for problem-solving matter just as much as your craftsmanship.

If you have proven boat-building or repair experience, can read a tape to the millimetre, and don’t mind getting a bit of sawdust in your hair while we bring these motorboats back to life, let’s set up a quick chat about schedules and start dates.
