Mentor of Analog Sensor Circuit and PCB design (1-2 hours)

I am an embedded software engineer and have little experience in designing circuit and PCB design.
I have a small project on the analog sensor reading.
The required sampling rate 20Hz, so I think it's not high speed. But the sensor output is 4mV p-p. It's too small for the microcontroller's ADC.
I think I need an OPamp and low pass filter, but I'm not fully sure.
Please advise me on some important points of the circuit and PCB design to achieve low noise and low distortion sensor reading.
