Kitchen Bath Recessed Lighting & Circuit

Job ID: 40184653

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

I’m renovating my home in Kingston, NY and need a licensed electrician who can handle two closely related tasks in one visit. First, I have a set of recessed fixtures—already purchased and on-site—ready to be installed in both the kitchen and the bathroom. The ceilings are open and pre-marked for the can lights, so I simply need safe wiring, secure mounting, and a clean finish that will pass inspection.

While you’re here, I’d like a dedicated 20-amp line run from the panel for a new dishwasher and microwave to keep them off the existing kitchen circuit. The panel has free slots; you’ll just need to supply the correct breaker, run the Romex, and tie everything in according to code.

Acceptance is straightforward:
• Recessed lights fully operational on a switched circuit with no visible damage to drywall.
• Separate, clearly labeled breaker and tested power for both appliances.
• All work meets current NEC and any local Kingston requirements.

If you’re comfortable pulling a permit and scheduling the final inspection, let me know in your proposal. I’m ready to start as soon as we confirm timing.
