Install & Label Cat6a Runs

Job ID: 39759173

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a low-voltage technician to pull 14 dual Cat 6a drops (28 cables total) in a finished office area inside our warehouse in Guilderland, NY. The space has an 8-foot, acoustic drop ceiling and the longest path to the panel is under 75 feet, so ladder work is minimal. All cable, jacks, keystones, plates, and patch panels will be provided; you’ll just bring your tools, fish tape, and a tester.

Every cable must be clearly labeled at both ends. I am not aware of any obstructions above the tiles, but I won’t know for sure until the tiles come down, so please be prepared to handle the usual mix of HVAC, sprinkler, or conduit surprises without drama.

After termination, run a continuity test on each line and hand over the results. Full certification is not necessary—simple pass/fail with length and pair map is fine.

Deliverables:
• 28 Cat 6a cables neatly dressed through the ceiling grid and terminated at the patch panel and wall plates
• Matching labels on both ends of every cable
• Basic test report showing all runs pass

Ideally this job would be completed from 6 pm to 11 pm on scheduled dates (this space will be empty at those times) but during normal business hours is also acceptable.
