EU High-Voltage Substation Commissioning
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
A new high-voltage substation is reaching the final stages of construction and I need an experienced commissioning engineer on site in Europe. You must already hold an EU passport or a valid work permit; unfortunately, I can’t sponsor visas for this assignment.
Scope of work
You will take the substation through commissioning and testing yo energisation and hand-over. The key activities include:
• System testing of all primary and secondary circuits
• Detailed equipment inspection before first energisation
• Protection relay testing, setting confirmation and trip checks
• Full commissioning sequence with the construction and operations teams
• Clear, well-structured reporting and documentation for the client file
Standards & compliance
All procedures and records have to align with the relevant IEC standards. If you routinely work to additional client-specific requirements, note that flexibility will be appreciated, but IEC conformity is non-negotiable.
Deliverables & acceptance
1. Signed test sheets for each system test and relay check
2. Completed inspection checklists with any punch-list items highlighted
3. A concise commissioning report, including IEC references, test results, and sign-off pages ready for the asset owner
4. Daily progress summaries emailed to me while on site
Timeline
Mobilisation is expected in the next four weeks, with on-site work estimated at two to three months (depending on final punch-list volume).
If you have verifiable experience on similar HV substations and meet the EU work-eligibility requirement, let’s talk about scheduling and any specialised test gear you might need us to supply on site.
