Grid-Tied Solar Array Design coupled with thermal hot water system
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m wrapping up a grid-tied photovoltaic project and need a seasoned solar designer to finish the electrical side cleanly. The panels are already chosen, the mounting points fixed, and I have a preferred list of brands for modules, inverter, optimisers, disconnects and the solar-assisted water-heater interface. What’s missing is a complete, permit-ready electrical package and clear guidance on how every device ties together.
Here’s the work in plain terms:
• Design the final stringing plan, conductor sizing, over-current protection, rapid-shutdown path and grounding in full compliance with the latest NEC/local code.
• Produce DWG drawings that show single-line, three-line and physical layout—including the hand-off to my existing distribution board and the hybrid solar water-heater loop.
• Detail all terminations, conduit runs, combiner box layouts and interlock requirements so my electrician can follow them without guesswork.
• Cross-check my chosen components for electrical compatibility and flag any gaps; I’m open to equivalent substitutes only if something is technically superior or required by code.
• Deliver a concise bill of materials and wiring schedule that matches the drawings exactly.
Acceptance criteria: the DWG files open without errors in AutoCAD 2024, the single-line meets utility interconnection guidelines, and conductor/protection tables reconcile with the calculations you provide.
If you have a track record of grid-tied PV designs and can turn these deliverables around quickly, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
