We seek a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to oversee the operation and management of a 50-200 MW gas generation facility. This role is critical for ensuring efficient, reliable, and safe power generation while optimizing fuel usage and maintaining compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the gas generation facility, including supervising technical staff and ensuring equipment functionality.
Monitor and optimize power generation systems to maximize efficiency and reliability.
Conduct regular inspections, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting of gas turbines and associated systems.
Analyze fuel consumption patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational performance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to plan upgrades, expansions, or modifications to the facility.
Prepare technical reports and documentation related to performance metrics, regulatory compliance, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in power plant operations or gas generation systems management.
Familiarity with gas turbine technology, power plant design, and energy optimization principles.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, HYSYS).
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and environmental regulations in the energy sector.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent licensing is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing medium-scale (50-200 MW) power generation facilities.
Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate complex projects within budget and schedule constraints.
Expertise in conducting feasibility studies for system upgrades or modifications.
