GFCI adapter design

i am looking for a way to design a 120V outlet adapter that will work around gfci outlet. gfci outlet will trip when ground fault is detected. this will disable any appliances that is using plugged to that outlet. rewiring can be done to circumvent the situation but average people will not know how to do it. so I am interested in knowing if an outlet adapter device can be used to trick the ground fault and circumvent stoppage in operation of an appliance.
