Fingerprint Room Access System
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I need a complete, reliable fingerprint-based door control for several designated rooms in our facility. Because we want true physical security, cards or PINs are off the table; fingerprint recognition is the single authentication method we will use.
Scope
• Advise on hardware (reader, controller, electric strike) that ships easily to Indonesia and is proven in small-to-medium deployments.
• Install and configure the units on two interior wooden doors.
• Set up simple management software so I can enrol users, assign them to specific rooms, and download entry logs in CSV or Excel.
• Provide a short hand-over session and written guide in Bahasa Indonesia.
Acceptance
• Only authorised fingerprints open the doors; failed attempts stay locked.
• System keeps at least 30 days of timestamped logs and exports without data loss.
• Recovery procedure (power cut, hardware fault) documented and demonstrated.
