FAT QA/QC Inspector (Electrical and Instrumentation) Athens, Greece
Budget: $400 – $500 USD
I need a seasoned QA/QC professional to carry out a one-day Factory Acceptance Test on a PPC panel at the vendor’s facility, 12 Kerkiras St., Metamorfosi 14452, Athens, Greece. The visit is fixed for 11 March 2026 and cannot be moved, so you must be able to be on-site that day.
You will be looking at both electrical and instrumentation aspects and working to IEC standards. Previous, hands-on FAT experience is essential—I am counting on you to move through the checks efficiently and to spot anything that could later hold up commissioning.
Core objectives while on site
• Verify overall dimensions and construction quality of the panel.
• Cross-check the full Bill of Materials (type, rating, quantity).
• Confirm paint shade and coating thickness meet specification.
• Inspect ferruling and nameplates.
• Compare wiring and functional schemes against the latest drawings, including network connectivity and hardware communication tests.
• Compile photographs, measurement logs, and observations into a concise inspection report the same day (or at most within 24 hours).
I will provide the latest drawings, BOM, and inspection templates in advance. Bring any basic measurement tools you rely on; specialised test equipment for network checks will be available at the vendor’s lab.
If you are confident with IEC-based FATs for electrical and instrumentation panels and can commit to the date, please get in touch and outline similar assignments you have recently completed.
