I am seeking an experienced Electrical & Test Equipment Engineer to assist with a consultancy project focused on designing, developing, and troubleshooting test equipment solutions for complex systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electronics, system testing, and compliance standards.
Project Scope:
Test Equipment Development: Assist in designing, integrating, and optimizing test equipment for system validation.
Troubleshooting & Debugging: Analyze test results, diagnose faults, and implement corrective measures.
Hardware & System Testing: Work with sensors, power distribution systems, and embedded systems.
Compliance & Standards: Understanding of MIL-STD, EMC, CE/UKCA, and environmental compliance testing is beneficial.
Documentation & Reports: Generate technical documentation, test procedures, and verification reports.
Ideal Skills & Expertise:
Electrical and electronic engineering background
Experience with system integration and validation
Familiarity with automated test procedures (ATP)
Knowledge of environmental testing standards (e.g., EMC, thermal, vibration)
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, and test benches
Experience working with defense, aerospace, or high-reliability systems is a plus.
