Entertainment Equipment Mobile Power System Design

We are in search of a skilled electrical engineer or consultant with expertise in the design and specification of power systems for mobile entertainment setups. This project focuses on the design and specification phase only, with no requirement for implementation. The consultant will be tasked with developing a detailed plan and specification for a battery-based power system, including a backup generator, that can support a variety of electronic devices such as audio-visual equipment and lighting.

Key Objectives:

Evaluate the power consumption needs for the intended equipment and draft a detailed power system design that incorporates both primary and backup power solutions.

Specify a battery-based power system that ensures efficient and prolonged operation of the entertainment equipment in a mobile setting.

Include a backup generator in the design, prioritising low noise and efficiency, to guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Offer recommendations for system components and layout that consider space optimisation, efficiency, and future scalability.

Provide an estimated cost breakdown for the entire system, including potential suppliers or brands for key components.

Consultant Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in designing power systems for mobile or constrained environments, supported by a portfolio or case studies.

Up-to-date knowledge of battery technologies, energy management systems, and sustainable power solutions suitable for mobile applications.

Strong analytical skills to accurately determine system requirements and to propose innovative solutions within budget constraints.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver comprehensive system specifications and cost estimations in written form.
