Electrical engineer licensed in Hawaii needed to stamp my solar PV systems plans
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
The Honolulu Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) requires that the attached plans for my Solar PV system be stamped by an electrical engineer licensed in the state of Hawaii. It consists of two sub-systems:
1. The system for our ground floor (585 Kawainui) is grid-tied with an NEM meter. We want it to provide power directly from our solar panels and back-fill with grid power as needed. Batteries were not included because we were told that this would cancel our NEM agreement.
2. The system for our upstairs Ohana unit (587 Kawainui) is also grid-tied and includes two PowerWalls. We want it to provide power directly from our solar panels and back-fill the panels with battery power as needed and back-fill the batteries with grid power as needed.
