EV Electrical System Design Blueprint house battery for mobile office
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
An all-electric vehicle is about to receive a full custom upfit and I need a complete engineering blueprint before a single wire is pulled. The scope centers on design and planning only—no on-site installation is required at this stage.
Vehicle
• Platform: Electric Vehicle (EV) - Chevrolet Brightdrop 600 cargo van
Systems to be integrated
• 48v 100 Ah House Battery Management System (BMS)
• Shore Power Charging & house battery to/from vehicle charging option
• High-power (3000+) 48v DC/AC pure sine wave inverter feeding 120V house circuits
• Secondary LiFePO4 (or gallium/GaAs semi-solid state) 20 Kwhr house battery bank with proper isolation from the traction pack
• Roof-mounted ETFE N-type/P-type monacrystalline 300 Wh/kg flexible solar array and MPPT charge controller tied into the above
Data feed - tri-band dual SIM bonded router & Ext MIMO antenna
Audiovisual - external/internal noise cancellation and layered dynamic sound integration &
With What I expect from the finished package
• Single-line and detailed wiring diagrams showing conductor sizes, fuse/breaker values, grounding, and disconnects
• Component specification sheet (models, ratings, data-sheets links) with justification for each selection
• Load and energy-flow calculations covering worst-case driving, charging, and office loads
• BMS architecture chart outlining cell tap layout, balancing strategy, and CAN data mapping
• Compliance notes touching on NEC, SAE J1772, and relevant UL standards
• File delivery in PDF plus native CAD (DWG, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar)
I already possess rough sketches and target performance data; once the NDA is in place I will forward these along with battery and motor specs. A collaborative approach is welcome—quick design reviews over video or shared whiteboard will keep the project moving smoothly.
Final acceptance hinges on diagrams that can be handed straight to a certified installer without further clarification.
